Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Congrats on the new PC . Where did you get it? Bought on line?

My lap top must be 4- 5 years old now. Its a Dell , my others were HP

Got it at staples and their tech guy downloaded all the saved stuff, pics, docs, bookmarked stuff from my old pc onto my new one.

My old one even had a fried possessor (brain). IIRC he pulled out the hard drive from my old PC and loaded the stuff on the new one , for free.

My newer PC has the digital hard drive thingy. No moving parts

It says Intel core i5 on the little sticker

Ill buy my nest pc at staples also. Good prices and they have a computer tech kid to help you

O.K. JD God forbid it was NOT the money but a frigging 65 mile round trip to Daytona so I stopped in Wally World which I seldom do.
Real nice kid knowledgeable on computers "We only have a very few left. With this flu people are staying home and buying them."
So I bought the last of the last $$. It don't work I will use it as as chest plate shot protector.

Congratulations on your upgrade.
How much data do you need to move? Portable hard drives aren't too expensive, and I like to keep my docs and valuable pictures on one in the gun safe.
Something like this perhaps:

If you are downloading just files, get a flash drive and copy from the old one and dump to the new one. On Firefox you can upload your bookmarks and pick them up on the new one when you log in with a password they give you. It's not difficult, any 6 year old can do it!

HP makes good stuff. I'm running a HP Envy with windows 10 I bought new about 6 years ago and so far zero issues. Before that I had a HP running Vista for almost 8 years and no problems.

Before that I owned a number of Dells. All of them burned up after about 4 years.
