Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Nothinglike that velocity out of a pistol barrel! More like 900-1100 (if that) out of that pistol barrel, as a WAG.

A 380 ACP is commonly loaded with 85-88 grain bullets at 990 F
PS.

So the only gain is maybe is a .03 increase in bullet diameter EXCEPT the .410 is undersize so as to pass through a full choked barrel, which pretty much negates that slight advantage.

That Judge is mighty big to shoot a .380 out of!

.45 colt is 200 grains, .452 diameter at 1000 FPS, out of a pistol barrel and comes in several MUCH handier packages.

Regards,
Considering I avoid the .410 as much as I can, my opinions are only that, and speculation. That comes from my use of .410 shotguns when I was a kid. I don't know why one would kill a doberman eating through our rabbit hutch with one shot at 30-40 yards, but wouldn't kill a cottontail rabbit with 2 shots at 10 yards - both using #6 shot.

Never could get one-shot kills on dove and quail on the wing with one, either. No problem when I went to a 12 gauge. It was most likely the lugnut behind the trigger that was the problem, but I have no interest whatsoever in the .410. I sure wouldn't want to get shot in the face with any of them, though.

Sometimes you wish he would just lie to us.
