Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Hypothermia water survival chart..

If the water
temp (F) is... Exhaustion or unconsciousness Expected time of survival is
32.5 under 15 min. 15-45 min.
32.5-40.0 15-30 min. 30-90 min.
40-50 30-60 min. 1-3 hr.
50-60 1-2 hr. 1-6 hr.
60-70 2-7 hr. 2-40 hr.
70-80 3-12 hr. indefinitely
over 80 indefinitely
http://floridamarineguide.com/boating_safety.html

Normal human body temperature is around 98.6. People think they can survive in 70 degree water forever.. Just not true.. Your body temperature will eventually drop and you will succumb to hypothermia..
Same with dry land travel.. Wear layers of clothing. Sweating will kill you.. Sweat, temp. drops to 60s 70s at night, you could get hypothermia..
More interesting and informative survival tips to follow.. Stay tuned..

Up here, very seldom is the water warmer than about 65 or so except for in shallow places.

That's one of the reasons I ride a sit in kayak instead of a sit on top. I've been thinking about getting a sit on top for the warmest days or if I travel down South.

Well Pogo, all kidding aside.. My Bro, inexperienced, went out in a kayak fishing.. Big feller.. Fun day paddle around, calm water..
Be damned he caught a fish, not big a big one, but a fish.. Splashing by his kayak, Whoops Mr. Gator wanted the fish.. Scared the living hell out of him. Tried to grab the fish out of his hand. That was his last trip in that boat..
Got a feller her fishes exclusively out of his kayak.. Be damned if he does not get into back cover we can not.. Guess who catches the fish, not the guys in the $50 thousand dollar bass boats..
