had the the day off my german friend had his buddy and son came in from
germany nether one had shot a gun but day had them shot my
MG42,MP5,UMP45(clone)Hk93 Kriss 45 HK full size 45,DSA RPD carbine
they had all kinds of fun went threw a shit load of ammo
the 20yr kid ear to ear grin all day

the dinner not the booze I have not had drink in 25yrs I like it way too much

Go for the 308 version that uses M-14 mags...unless you are a total traditionalist...expensive; fine like wine...that is fine and I don't drink...shoot, heck yeah!

yes was looking at that M-14 mag are lot easy to come buy have the 42
shooting 308 8mm surplus is getting harder too come buy what I
have about 9000 rounds I'am sitting on as a back up never no
mite just need it

A friend about 50 min. from here grew up in Essen (NRW) Germany, then came to the US for a second degree and other training.
Even though he has a very nice classic Colt AR, Beretta and shotguns, his only shooting passion is bagging pheasants.

An actual paradox is a buddy/former coworker from Kent County England who told me that he's a Demokrat, but has the tax stamp for his MP5, Chinese AK and also has a very tactical AR with 12" barrel, the PTR-91 etc.
And now he is an 03 FFL.

He has also been an FFDO (cockpit Federal Agent) since his previous job as a Check Airman with Pinnacle Airlines.

Kind of ironic, a very rare mix?

A bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky...any light snow cover is GONE. Looks like a fine day to burn some gun powder. My neighbor with the 100 yd range just called and asked me if I wanted to shoot any today.
