I love the Mosin rifles so much, I went on a buying streak a few years ago and bought 15 of them. Each one is unique in it's own right.
Then I bought an 1897 M-91. This one is my favorite because it was marked as an Austrian Hungarian piece and later taken in by the Finnish. It still has the old Cyrillic Russian Tula markings and never was rebarreled or restocked by the Finnish. Probably fought in 4 major wars and made it's way back to Merica without any import marks. If that rifle could talk. |

Nice Mosin porn lol.
Got me an M44. That fucker sounds like artillery and probably kicks as much as the 03A3 I was shooting. I got my brother one as a gift, a hex receiver 91/30. Almost killed some retards hunting in the trees 1000yds away from us where we were targeting. Why the fuck they were in there I don't know but the ONE day people actually decided to go in that spot nobody ever would even want to go in had to be the day we were shooting. Point is - yea, I use 91/30 for 1000yrd shots lol. Fun! You can get in like 3ft of each hit if you try hard enough.

You think an M44 kicks, try an M38. It's like an M44, but without the added weight of the bayonet and associated mount.
The hex receiver 91/30s are pretty desirable. Pull it down and look at the date on the tang. A lot of 91/30's reused receivers from M91's. Brian

I have an M38 and it is a real thumper,,but more accurate than my 91/30,kills the poo out of a license plate @ 200 yds,,perhaps when I get caught up on side projects,I'll work on making it more accurate
