A chemical treatment will be used to kill fish in a 5.5-mile stretch of the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal in early December to help keep invasive Asian carp out of Lake Michigan.

IMO anytime the government goes into a kill the carp mod it's all bull shit an has little or zero effect on controlling a specific type of fish.

I'm guessing it's based on a money boondoggle means of giving taxpayer money to one of el raghead obamas political buddies.

,,seeing Lake Michigan is only 20 miles away from me I feel particualy sensitive to this,,Silver Lake sand dunes are some of the best around and our beaches are just as clean and pretty as Jamaica,,and I hope it stays that way,,Shitcongo can do whatever it wants but I can imagine a massive die off of fish will be REAL GOOD for tourism

We have ironback catfish, I think there called, invading the St. Johns river system.
Cat fishing is big commercial business here. The ironbacks are decimating the local cat fish and taking over.
Then we have duck weed clogging the river. The duck weed gets chemically sprayed, goes to the bottom creating muck, then the fish cant bed.
Blue crab harvesting is a multie million dollar business here. This year was terrible.
The only crabs to be had were in the local bars.
Solution, I guess. Bring in Piranha. Let them go and kill everything. Then poison the piranha and start over.

I agree with the government here. If those friggin asian carps get into the Great Lakes they will wipe out the whitefish, coho salmon, perch, various trout, walleye, and many other desirable fish.

This crap is the reason we shouldn't allow anything from asia or afreaka be brought into the US without close inspection.
