I mounted my GoPro camera on my mountain bike
The camera microphone picks up all of the vibrations of the bike. It makes it sound like my bicycle is falling apart. And that "clicky noise" is when I apply the disk brake. In actuality, it's not noisy at all.

I'm working out so I can join the Columbian bicycle team.
Really I do it for a cardio workout. I had to stop running because the impact was damaging my knees. So I bicycle for lower body exercise and kayak for upper body exercise. I get fat in the Winter. But I still lift weights in the Winter. |

Hmmm...now that's interesting, in the second half of your video I realized I had seen that neighborhood before.
Yep, I figured it out, that's where John Danley lives. The Go-Pro mics are definitely sensitive. Must be why you can hear a user's narration so well when they are riding/driving. |

I could have had the open back on the case if I wanted to narrate the ride. Quote:
I've got the mount for my kayak. I'll probably put it on today. |

Does it have a jack for an external mike?

The camera does have a place to plug in an external mike but there is no way to get it through the waterproof case.
The case has a slotted back door that allows sound in, but I had the solid back door installed. On the right below is the waterproof case with the solid back door on it. On it's left is the slotted back door. In the future I'll probably have the slotted back door on except for when I go kayaking or swimming with the camera. |
