Took my boat out for the first time this morning
It was interesting. First, I went swimming trying to board the boat from the dock but that was pretty much expected. Then I got it out in the water to find that there was even less wind than I expected, so after turning this way and that trying to catch a breeze, I finally gave up and paddled back to the ramp.
When I attempted to recover the boat, I found that it has a leak in the daggerboard chase and had taken on water, so I have a muscle strain from trying to lift the bow up on the trailer. Probably a good thing there was no wind.

Nothing a little JB Weld or Marine Expoxy can't fix.

No, I'm fine. I cut some inspection ports in and added some glue in the daggerboard chase. I've been hanger flying her, trying to improve on my mistakes. I missed this thread because I never think to check this section.
