Trout fishing
Sure have the urge, but I'm a fair weather fisherman, and there's between zero and no chance I'll go ice fishing. Guess I just have to keep doing maintenance on my fishing gear until I can get out...

I love trout fishing but in my area it is frustrating. We have a lot of fishing pressure and most of the trout are stocked. Catching the tiny wild brooks up in the mountains is fun but best time is spring.

Best trout fishing I ever did was a few times in New Mexico. Backpacking trips through the Gila National Forest, brown trout right out of the river. Run a sharp stick through the mouth and cook them over the fire, caveman style. Tasty.
