Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

That's what a good sling is all about. This one is 1.5 pounds.

This is my Trijicon TA-33R8. It weighs in at about half a nothing. You can get one for a little under $700 is you shop around. Its better in every way than the Elcan, at close range, or long range.

(yes, I wear Mickey Mouse clothing to the gun range. It's my way of letting the fat guys who dress up in Rambo tac-vests know how ridiculous they are)

Anything Elcan puts out is top notch stuff. Not cheap but good stuff.

I have an Aimpoint on my carbine.

I thought about an Acog to the point of looking at them. Have an Aimpoint for use on my LMT CQB upper. I might be using this upper on the m-16 lower as it has the barrel change option.

I will most likely buy a Colt R0923 CQB upper for the flat top & railed forend. My Commando upper is the old school one with the carrying handle.

The guy selling it to me has a AN / PEQ 2 he wants to sell, but I have a DBAL. I would buy another of these just to have it in common with the one I have

My upper receiver is Nib-X coated. And the barrel is a cold forged chrome lined Daniel Defense. And it has a WMD Nickel Boron (Nib-X) coated bolt and carrier.

I shot with a guy who had an Elcan several years ago. Not sure of the model. It was complicated and we could not get it focused. They have probably improved since then.

I like ACOG's and Aimpoints. So do many active operators.

I have an Aimpoint on my piston gun, it was on the .300 whisper first. I like it, but the Elcan offers up magnification without the added mount & magnifiers of Aimpoints & Eotechs. For some reason I don't care for the ACOG's.

I put Aimpoints on my close quarters rifles and ACOG's on my 400 yd rifles.
