Cyber Monday
It was just coincidence, really. I wasn't buying Christmas presents for anyone, just stuff I needed.
POR-15 anti-rust coating got some of my $$ today. Going to strip the flaking powder coating off my Xterra's rear bumper, then treat it with that stuff, then re-paint it with bedliner. Still way cheaper than sending it out to be stripped and re-powder coated. Brownell's and Midway USA both got orders for some parts I needed/wanted. Well, a Magpul stock set for the Mossberg 590 from Brownell's and some parts for the 1911 and AR-15 from Midway. Prices were pretty much the same between the two, but Brownell's didn't have the parts that Midway had, and Midway was sold out of the stock set I wanted in FDE color.

I bought some gauges from Brownell's yesterday and was happy they had the same price. Seems like most places didn't change much today from the weekend sales which is fine by me.

Sounds like you went front loaders? The pedestals are a fricken racket. No way in hell they should cost as much as they do and you have to get certain ones for certain sets of washers and dryers.
I personally like front load washers. With all the machines (few exceptions) having to use less water front loaders are better set up and use the natural tumble action. After use with washer crack the door open so it will dry out and cut down on chance of mildew. Front loaders also save you money on drying because they can spin faster (meaning your close aren't as wet coming out of the washer). Just don't overload as all machines now days have issues with that. I am not cracking on top loaders they just aren't the same machines because of the rules of less water use. The old top loaders are work horses but not real efficient. |

Yup old washer dryers metal parts last 20 years.
New ones plastic parts last 3 years if your lucky. Last washer lasted 2 1/2 yrs I shot it full of holes and pushed it in the canal for my fish reef. Now I told the guy at Lowe's if you don't have one that FILLS the frig up I will bring it frigging back. Got one and it fills 'Heavy Loads' to the top. Water savers my ass I live on a river in a damn swamp what the hell do I need a water saver for.

If they are top loaders don't fill them full of clothes because I doubt they will fill up with water. If they have an HE on them they are high efficient and they have settings that they can't fill up and over ride. Also set up that you have to hit stop to open the lid. To many stupid kids and mother lawsuits.
P.s. Doesn't mean you won't like them. Last edited by But Its A Dry Heat; 12-03-2019 at 01:30 AM. Reason: ps |

The new set is for the new laundry room
that I just added on upstairs, I will probably continue to use the set in the basement... that’s where I shower and keep my clothes anyway...it’s handy to just throw my dirty stuff in the washer down there...the wife doesn’t want my stuff in her nice new set |
