Murphy's Mule Barn - Albuquerque

Murphy's Mule Barn was a diner in Albuquerque. It was of the old-school diners. I don't know why they shut down, but they are missed. I haven't found a chicken fried steak like the one below since they shut their doors.

They also had the best meat loaf I've ever eaten (don't tell my wife, because she makes a pretty good meatloaf, just not as good as theirs was).

Yeah now I want chicken fried steak, but can't think of a decent one near by.

Make your own, butterfly a chicken breast, bread it and fry it. That's what we had last night, Italian style, with tomato sauce and Mozzarella cheese on top

Chicken fried steak is beef steak. My wife always used tenderized round steak.
