Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default I'm having a AR built for me........

For whatever reason, I've always wanted an AR similar to the M16A1 that was standard issue for most troops when I was in the Army (79-88). You know, just the basic AR.

A couple years ago, my son gave me a used A2 Upper Receiver and he's kinda been razzing me to 'do something' with it. The rear sight was on it and complete but, it was missing the Forward Assist and dust cover. I have a dust cover and the spring for it.

I picked up a Anderson Lower Receiver (at a local gun shop), for $159 + sales tax.

I also ordered this barrel.

A buddy recently received his FFL and opened up a shop in a neighboring town. I'm having him put it together. I had him order the Bolt Carrier Group, Charging Handle and Forward Assist parts kit. He has it all put together with the exception of the Charging Handle. It hasn't arrived yet. Maybe I'll be able to pick it up Monday after work.

2 weeks ago, I had him change out the barrel hand guard on one of my DPMS Oracle AR's and he'll use the 'old' hand guard on this rifle.

Another buddy has a 24" Bull Barrel in .223/5.56 that is for sale. I'm considering buying it and installing that on another AR and basically turning it into something like this..... but with the 6 position collapsible stock and chambered in .223/5.56mm.

Those closed trigger guard Andersons are my favorites, very solid and no ears to break off.

I finally got the chance to take it out and see if it would run. It ran flawlessly. I'm really liking this build!

If I could figure out how to post a pic or two from my phone, I would.

That sounds great Hunter good for you? If this was the 60s hell I could have mailed yah one home nobody was keeping track. Just turn one in when yer leavin if yah signed for one.
AKs we sent back to the rear or some guys broke them down and mailed em home. Nobody wanted those junk wooden things.
My good friend was getting AKs and the frigging MPs were taking them and they were mailing them home. He finally told them he would shoot if they tried again. They didn't he has a few stored away.
