O.K. almost ready for re-loading..
Got the Lee Classic turret press in yesterday.
Directions are awesome with this kit.. So far I have just got past the "Install Lever." Now I am taking a road trip too Washington D.C. to see if the Smithsonian Institute will let me use their Mars telescope to read the rest of these friggen directions. O.K. install lever- check.. Install powder discharge with riser as shown in microscopic picture.

irritating isn't it?
Try this; Go to Lee Precision web site. Find the page for your press Find the link in the text that says online instructions or something similsr, and click on it. This will get you the instructions in PDF format. Now you can enlarge the PDF Instructions until both the text and the photo's and/or drawing becomes legible. Regards, ... |

I know, it's just me, but the Lee turret is a pretty simple press. Really easy to use, once you get going your going to love it. Like 5Knives said, hit the web site.

I have a LEE single stage press I got in 2004 with the 45acp dies.I can reload a box of 50 in less than 60 minutes.I was wanting to get the classic turret press but I don,t get out shooting like I use too.My old press should outlast me.

Good tips guys. Thank you much...
I will hit that Lee site. What I did was watch You Tube videos over and over again. Tad bit confusing how everything works. Handle on, powder charger on, dyes going on. Not a $2,000 press but it will out live me. Rails I had a single stage.. But I got tired of changing everything. Every comment on the press, did pre warn about the instructions. I will put some picts. up. You guys check it out if you would. Thank you. |

A lee single stage is what I use. They are fine. Just got to bolt it down to a very solid table. Full length resizing 7.62 brass puts a workout on the press but it does fine... My biggest gripe is just weighing every charge by hand. One of these days I'mma gonna get me an electronic dispenser.

You guys are correct.. Think I am reading to much into this and making it more difficult than it is.
I reloaded years back on a single stage and the rounds went bang. Hell off to get a bench, set things up and give it a go. |
