A popular choice for decades in defensive ammunition, Federal Hydra-Shok bullets are now available as a reloading component.
I've been pretty happy with Hornady XTP's for hollow point pistol bullets, but the Hydra-Shok has always been a pretty impressive performer in factory loadings. I bet reloaders can milk out all the performance potential of the bullet, though.
Hopefully, they'll come out with some in .44 caliber so I can try them in my sabots with the muzzleloader. Quote:

I like the Speer golddots, but I may try some of those.
