Finally put the lotion in the basket
I just received two .40 caliber Lone/Alpha Wolf replacement barrels for my Glock 22s thus ending the ten year what caliber is that jag off going with saga closing the least cared about plot hole in Internet history.
The company says it stopped making the 9mm conversion barrels and that sucks since they were offset from center to make the straight .40 ejectors work with them. Someday I might get .357 Sig but all the people I care to let inherit them are .40 lovers. 9mm is most practical but that is not the Way of the Joad. ETA: Ordered in wee hours Friday morning, approx. 90 hours from Circle Jerk, ID. to Bumblefuck, OK. after going west to Spokane and over shooting to Tulsa. (Bumblefuck is just off I-35 and just out of the Ozarks) I think it was a fast delivery.

Remember that scene in THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS when Michael Demsky asked Val Kilmer, “You went into battle with an untested weapon!?” Don’t take a virgin wolf barrel into action. She needs polished like MY FAIR LADY.
Dremel time....at least I can’t make a Glock any uglier. |

The feed ramps were some abysmal stubborn SOBs but after a prolonged boondocks quest to locate some Flitz polishing compound they’re working 100%.
400 grit sand paper and Dremel polishing cone with red grit didn’t do the trick, a comically small application of Flitz made the speed ramps slicker than baby whale shit. Skip the rainbow of polishing grit colors and go straight to the Flitz. |
