Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Cool My race car experience

Yesterday, I was gifted with a ticket to The Rusty Wallace Racing Experience.

My mother-in-law signed me up to drive a late-model stock car on the local short track.

It was a lot of fun, even though I only had 12 laps. Just when I really got the hang of it, it was over. They had certain rules you had to follow -- lift your foot off the gas into the turns, and where you could accelerate. I would floor that sucker in the straights and the wife said toward the end I was drifting through the corners.

We also could not pass another car until the guy on the radio told us it was okay - so in the video, you see me slow down a bit before passing.

I'm driving number 61 - a silver car. I was told the black car was trying like hell to catch me, but never could.

I talked to a local guy who hobby races 2 retired NASCARs in the hobby circuit. Just the tires and brakes run him $3000 to $4000 per weekend. He does the engines once per year. He is retired and getting the cars ready to race again the following weekend takes him all week, full time.

He said most retired NASCARs go to the junior or semi-pro circuit, but after that they are recycled rather than sold, so it is hard to find an old NASCAR to use. According to him anyway.

500grains yeah true I think what you say. Those guys that put those cars together are so good, hell they take them completely apart and put them back together in a day.
They just had a show on about them building the bodies for the cars. My God they put the whole body together in a few hours. This from flat metal stock.
The way the girlfriend smashes up my vehicles, I would like to have one of those guys for a neighbor.

those programs are the best for building a fan base. Roy Hill had one for drag racing and i got Army Niece into it. she got to run a Briggs powered rail down the quarter. not much to watch until you saw her face in the pit.

Great screen shot, Pogo!

It was a heck of a good time. Not a single guy got out of their car without a grin from ear to ear, and still grinning as they walked back to the parking lot.

They had ride-alongs with a professional driver, as well, if folks were too scared to drive. That was a special car with a passenger seat, though.

Mine didn't have a passenger seat.

Sanders,

You looked like you knew what you were doing out there. Must have been a hell of a thrill. How fast did you get on the straight away?

And yeah, saw the black car...and he didn't have any game next to you. Move over Tony Stewart...Sanders is the new kid in town.
