Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Spinz Do not step on these bad boys, your foot will come off.

"The 'Dinosaur Turtle' That Freaked Everyone Out Is An Alligator Snapping Turtle"

"The spiked turtle was found on the banks of the Amur River near the Leninskoye settlement, part of Russia's Jewish Autonomous Region, according to the Siberian Times."

Their fairly common in the south east U.S.. We see them on occasion here in the swamp. Can reach weights of 220 lbs. They back into the mud in swamps and rivers, stick their tongue out to look like a small fish. Fish check it out and get et.
Estimated to live well over a 100 years. Locals eat em. I give em $20 bucks to heave the poor old guys back in the water.

I saw a lot of them in Salt Creek in Southern Indiana. In the northern part of the state we have snapping turtles but not the big Alligator Snapper.

I have eaten a few of them and parts of them do. They say there are seven different kinds of meat in one and I believe that could be. There are parts that taste a bit like chicken, fish, pork, etc. They are a pain to get cleaned and cooked, but very tasty.

I've heard that too about different tastes, but I've never eaten one. They are all over the place here too.

A snapper that size took my deadline bait while fishing on the Ohio next to the Anderson Ferry back in 2008. The Ohio is around 500 yards wide at this point.
