JD here I pay $69 a month for CenturyLink. I have 8.13 on the upload and .075 on the download. A Ping of 51ms. Have no frigging idea WTF that is but it is pretty damn fast.

It was a temperary use also (like 1-3 months) then wanted you to pay money to keep it working for the premium service. So Id re down load the free every couple months

I run Avast on all the Microjunk machines, here and it's been free for years. You must have hit a trial button, or something. It runs silently, USUALLY. You'll probably not know if it blocked something. It used to make a bunch of noise and throw a red flag when you hit a virus, but it doesn't any more.
