A Gay California man is likely altering his regular sushi habit after discovering a tapeworm that may have entered his body through the raw salmon he loves so much... ...The man thought he was dying, Banh said, “Oh my goodness my guts are coming out of my mangina,” and started pulling at the worm. Once the 5' long tapeworm moved in his hand, Banh said, instead of just being horrified, the man was also relieved to know that it wasn’t his own entrails.

Many years ago there was a popular add in "Popular Mechanics" magazine...and others, it was for a diet pill that was guaranteed to work, you sent them your $$$ and received two pills; after taking the first pill you just ate normally and when you reached the weight you wanted you took the other pill...and it actually worked as described...until it was investigated and found to be:

1st pill was tape worm eggs!

2nd pill was tape worm poison!

Nasty stuff that and not considered healthy but it worked!

I am guilty of indulging in Sushi........i only like the raw tuna ....maguro or torro.......usually in some kind of a roll consisting of sea weed,avocado, rice and sesame seeds.

I know there are risks to eating it.
