Depends on what you plan to use it for, off shore and saltwater, river, lake ... round here the outboard most used is Evinrude or Johnson (actually the same thing). As already mentioned Boston Whaler is a durable strong built boat. Lots of people around here use Ranger or Cajun bass boats.
