Maybe you got a lemon - or need to do some reliability mods on your MkII.

I have a MkII 22/45 with a bull barrel and that thing runs like a top on anything I want to feed it. I was actually quite surprised, because these pistols are known to be picky eaters. The only mods I did was to polish the chamber and feed ramp. Plus I use Slide Glide (available from Dillon Precision) for the oil on this pistol. My only problem with this pistol is that it is so dang accurate and reliable, it is boring to shoot.

After you take them apart and put them back together a few times, it isn't so much of a puzzle anymore.

But I still prefer the breakdown of the MkIV.
