The way search engines work, specially Google...anything you put up will get picked up quick. Not necessarily show on the first page of a general search unless you pay extra, but it will be indexed rather quick. There are quite a few servers, some are expensive, some cheaper. I am presently using two different ones for my company, one is $90 a year, the other is $200 a month but it's got lead generation, email sender, 10 additional pages for salespeople and the whole nine yards. It got indexed the same as the $90 one. The one we use here specializes on forums and we pay what? about $500 a year or something like that. Don't go crazy, try a cheap one, give it a couple of weeks to propagate and see. Also, advertise in everything you can get for free, there are lots of free places in the internet you can get your name on.
