I have the Remington M11 my great Uncle carried in Korea. It has the flaming bomb on the barrel, and the hunting scenes engraved on the receiver. The Army first issued them in WW2, so it could have seen action then, too.

$25k for a shotgun? Maybe if it says, "Perazzi" on the barrel somewhere.
