I ate my first strawberry of the season from my tire strawberry patch, this morning. Somehow, they never make it into the house so I can have them with cake or ice cream.
With all the freezes we've had, I am quite happy I still have live strawberry plants. I just wish I hadn't covered a good portion of them with too much mulch this past winter. Those haven't come back through.
