Scandium frames are an alloy of Aluminum and Scandium. Scandium is lighter than aluminum. The frame will be stronger than Aluminum but slightly lighter. I wouldn't be firing many .357 or .38 +P with it.

With that short barrel, you won't get much benefit from a .357 or +P anyway, other than a bigger fireball.
.357 does loose much of its punch from a small barrel very disappointing for sure.
