Woodleigh bullet company burnt down
 

Apparently the Woodleigh bullet company burnt down, and rumors are that Geoff McDonald will not be rebuilding. Let’s hope he changes his mind. A lot of people and ammo manufacturers use their bullets.

Never used their products, but a loss of one is a loss to all. Those who did rely on Woodleigh will now be looking other places, and we know how that's been going.

The problem for some will be that Woodleigh made bullets in a lot of unusual calibers that most other producers don’t bother with. Typically for double rifles and other large bores.

Someone will buy the name. Burning it down & selling the name might pay more the straight up selling,

I have several hundred .408 dia., 400 gr. softs and solids that I used to load in my .450-.400 3 1/4” double. I sold the rifle, so if anyone needs bullets let me know.
