Just got a set of RCBS .45 ACP carbide dies
They've had this used set of dies at the gun store down the street for quite a while, now. So at lunch time today, I decided they wanted to go home with me. 25 bucks and the set was mine. They look like they were hardly even used.

I bought a set of 9mm and a set of 7.63x39 like that. The 9mm looked like they were used once or twice, and the 7.62x30 looks like they were never used. I haven't used either one yet, but they were a bargain I couldn't pass up.

I pick up oddball stuff like that every once in awhile. Got a complete set of RCBS .45AR (Auto Rim), with shell holder for $18.95. They were used, but not hard, nor put away wet.

At the same place, my cousin got an old 30-06 Lee handloading setup that was in new condition for $9.50.
I guess that's what he did last night, because there's a bunch of loaded '06 on his stuff today. |
I can't pass up a set of $12 dies. And I've gotten most of my dies this way. I'll go to a gun-show and get cheap dies for guns I don't even shoot. The only carbide dies I've ever bought have cost less than $20, most of which have been lightly used. I've had a few snatched out from under my nose, too. Some fuck-nut snatched a set of .44mag/spl dies out from under me, for $10. I was pissed !
