1911 Magazines......
 

I'm looking for 1911 magazines, specifically six, 8 round mags with slam pads. Springfield Armory has them but, at $40 each, that would get expensive quick.

I see Brownell's has 5 pages of different 1911 magazines. Sadly, most of those run right around $40 each also. The lower priced mags, are from companies that I'm not familiar with.

Where can I find decent mags, that won't cripple my bank account?

I run mostly Chip McCormick Shooting Star 8 round mags. I believe they go for around $15-$20 on Midway USA. Never had a bit of trouble with them.

Like Sanders I carry with Chip McMcormic mags and never ever had a problem with them. Hell even these $9.99 mags no problems. Use these for the range and Chips for the field.
McMcormic's go on sale quite often just keep yer eyes open. :thumbsup:

They have nothing in stock, be ready to wait. I have bought from them before. Some guy selling from his garage here in Miami.

Mec-gar makes the mags for Springfield Armory. You just have to pay extra for that Springfield stamp on them.
